How it works
- Record the training in CertiCerts as you normally would, one course or a whole training event.
- Send the worker their card from the app in one click. They get an email with a private link.
- They open it and save it to their home screen. It sits there like an app, with no app store and nothing to install.
- When you renew a course or add a new one, the card on their phone changes by itself.
What the worker sees
- Their photo, name, job title and employer
- Every course with its training date and expiry
- A clear status on each one: valid, expires soon or expired
- A verification QR a supervisor, gate guard or client can scan
The card keeps its last copy on the phone, so it still opens on a site with no signal.
Why a digital card beats a photo of a ticket
A photo of a paper ticket can't tell anyone it has expired, and a laminated card stays "current" long after the training lapses. A live card always shows today's status, because it comes from your training record. Expired training never shows as valid.
Use it alongside a printed card
Many sites still want something physical. CertiCerts makes both from the same record: a printed CR80 plastic wallet card and the live phone card. The printed card's QR opens the worker's current record, so the two always agree.
Private by design
Each worker's card has its own unguessable link that is not listed in search engines. You can switch a link off at any time, and the card stops working. Training records themselves stay in your CertiCerts records; the live card only carries what is printed on the card.
What you need
CertiCerts runs on Windows. Sending live cards needs a CertiCerts account, which you sign in to inside the app. Start with the free trial (2 certificates and 2 wallet cards), then choose Desktop Pro ($499 CAD once), certificate packs from $5, or a team plan from $39 a month. Compare plans.
